So everyone has their own definition of friendship. Not sure if you guys watch Mob Wives, but for example Drita and Karen’s past history issue of if they were friends or not. I can understand both of their views on friendship, I’ll catch you up. Drita feels that her and Karen weren’t friends when she hooked up with Karen’s ex-boyfriend simply because they had a length of time with no communication. Now let’s not dwell on the dating her ex-boyfriend issue because that isn’t the depth of the issue believe it or not. Karen feels that her and Drita were friends because there wasn’t any reason or altercation that declared the friendship was over. So I feel Drita on her view that friends do call you, check up on you and keep that bond there because all relationships involve effort. Karen is very true as well, friends are friends, whether we talk everyday or every other month and haven’t seen each other in a few months or years. That to me is a true friendship when you can have that bond.
So I have a good hand full of friends and I think that’s good enough. I don’t need a click, team, crew or gang of people to always travel with. I keep simple good company and not to seem selfish but each friendship should have a benefit to you. I’ll explain…

Well, I am always on yahoo news! I enjoy reading it rather than watching it. I think when you watch somebody else tell the news they can make the story feel any way they want whether that is the true flow of the story or not. So anyways there have been a few reports of school shootings and some at Universities. These shootings were mostly done by a guy and officials say that the stem of anger to shoot was frustration with school, work load, exams and personal life issues. In one case the guy came looking for an Administrator because he was dismissed from the University due to poor work performance, he was having a hard to grasping the material and he had been in the US for only a few years and he felt he wasn’t assisted with any help or guidance from faculty or peers. He also was dealing with some health issue a few months prior. Anyways before going to deep and I forget, make these few notes when taking situations like these into consideration.

So, this is just a little tip that I think it will help anyone start their day more relaxed especially for a Monday morning. I suggest this for men and women! When you wake up open your eyes and turn off that alarm…don’t hit snooze…do exactly this and see if it doesn’t adjust your mood or day.
- Roll flat on your back and legs closed and arms to your side.
- Pull your knees up as close as possible as if you were to do a sit up
- Then let your knees fall outward until your feet touch sole to soles
- Make sure you feel that stretch in your inner thighs, if not pull your feet in closer towards you
- Then stretch your arms outward slowly above your head placing your palms together
- Bring your hands down to your chest until you feel a stretch again and take a deep breathe
- Close your eyes and say these things
- Something positive about yourself
- What goal YOU ARE going to accomplish today
- Say a short prayer
For example;
1. You are well grounded and disciplined
2. Today, I am going to run 30 minutes and read 2 chapters from my textbook
3. Lord, give me the energy and motivation-In the name of Jesus
And if you want to just say nothing or use the few minutes to get self reflect, that works as well, these question are to guide you if your unsure of how to do so.

A great pump style for fashion-savvy women, perfectly paired with fitted pants and your new LBD (Little Black Dress). Solid patent upper with round toe, low-cut shanks and platform!
These are a total must have! Great investment for you to have in the closet! I think even if you aren’t fashion-savvy, you can’t go wrong with nude pumps! They match perfect with summer dresses, suits and jeans!
Oh and a little tip most shoes will say nude BUT look PINK, make sure the nude is less pink but not too taupe or tan!

So, I use to have the biggest fear of interview questions and have had a lot of bad and good experiences answering them. This STAR method is useful for internship interviews (as well as any other interviews) where you are asked a lot of situational questions. So during one of my internship interviews I was introduced to the STAR method. This method helps answer questions directly and not go on tangents. It allows you to show off your skills and character. Some things to remember when using the STAR method is to show enthusiasm and enunciate. Keep it under two minutes and it does not have to be a work experience, as long as it describes a relevant skill or behavior.
So what is the star method?

Yahoo posted this article about a drug for homosexuals to be protected from spreading or infecting others with HIV. I have this thing where I read yahoo’s people comments I find them rather amusing. But on the article particularly there wasn’t much funny or positive comments about it. It made me think, how valuable is this to people who actually are at risk and have this serious virus. So I googled living with AIDS blogs and the first one that came up was this blog called Diva Living With AIDS. It took my attention immediately. She is a gorgeous black strong woman who was diagnosed with HIV at the age of 23 and is now 50 with full blown AIDS. She does educational speakings and has graced the cover of numerous magazine. Why I care? Its just me, things cross my mind, I google it and I care to know how others are living in the same world I am. She was a bold and brilliant college student at the time and she battled those feelings of proving her mother wrong that she was more than what was between her legs and that sexing a man good can bring you love and happiness. Anyways I read her two years of blogging in two days. I tell you her real and raw to the core blogs won’t leave my mind. Her attitude in the beginning was just like mine and some of ours that oh, Ill just take a pill for that, he don’t look dirty or I’ll just ALWAYS use a condom. Anyhow she still was infected with the virus along with other STD’s, some that a pill can’t take care of. What does this have to do with me!

I have been natural for 6 months and was having a hard time with holding moisture in my hair. I have finally found a median that gives my scalp and ends moisture, a little sheen and flexibility. So I use a hair oil and hair grease. I usually was against grease because I thought it could clog my pores in my scalp but this grease doesn’t and it nourishes my scalp. I use the oil as well in my water mixture and when I wash and go. Well here is my routine and I use this routine because I don’t have as much curl definition as other natural girls that start out. I wash my hair and deep condition it and give myself a hot oil treatment afterwards and wash some of it out and towel drying. I then two strand twist my hair using shea butter only. I spray my hair with water and oil and before taking it down in the morning I run oil through my twist and scalp with my hands. So I usually try and keep it for 3-4 days so to maintain I part and section my hair into big pieces and twist and use the grease on my scalp as I part at night. Every morning and night I spray my hair with water and oil no matter the style! Water is KEY!!!! It also helps with growth. This routine has really helped keep my hair from being dry during the day, looking broken or dry and feeling softer! I am proud of my hair and the things I am learning.
